Shagging and Publishing

Today at the Press is a day of learning. This Friday is Wake Forest’s annual Shag on the Mag, a huge event at Wake where students “shag” to beach music on the Magnolia Plaza. Don’t know what shagging is? Chances are, if you’re not from the South, you don’t, and don’t worry, you’re not alone. Candide offered us interns a YouTube sampling of beach music and the shagging that goes along with it. Thanks to her, we’re all ready to get down like the natives Friday night!

Today I also learned about living bibliographies,  which our new Women’s Anthology will be including. A living bibliography is this cool and modern way to cite your sources online, where you can keep them updated and hear comments from readers. Just another effort by the Press to keep up with the new Publishing Revolution!
