Wake: Up to Poetry

"The act of poetry is a rebel act."

We are pleased to introduce…the Spring 2011 Newsletter!

Spring is quickly approaching, so as the weather warms here in Winston-Salem, NC we want you to be informed of all the happenings here in the basement of Tribble. The newsletter contains new information on our poets, upcoming news about the anthology tour and another entry of the Intern’s Corner. Unique to this years spring edition is an entry on finding your poetry flavor…so whether you are interested in myth, politics, history, ecopoetry or landscape we have suggestions of poets you need to start reading right away!

Though sharing all this information is definitely a source of enthusiasm, at the press we are most excited about the revamping of the newsletter creation process. Before this year, it was a long and tedious process to assemble a newsletter. Now, thanks to a collaborative effort (two heads are better than one right?), we have developed a much more efficient system for making the newsletter. This not only saves us time, but it makes sure you get a newsletter that is well assembled and chock full of interesting Irish poetry info!

Not signed up to get our newsletters? Go to our website right now so that you don’t miss out on any breaking Irish poetry news! Though we know your favorite part will be the Intern’s Corner.
